Ms Denise Groves has an extensive background in working for Aboriginal Affairs.
She has worked with the Department of Aboriginal Affairs, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission. Prior to her five years with Murdoch University she was employed as a lecturer with Edith Cowan University. Denise is interested in exploring ways reconciliation can be achieved through popular culture. She has been involved in organising music and film festivals.

Denise is a Murdoch graduated having completed a MA in Development Studies. She is a lecturer with the School of Aboriginal and Islander Studies and teaches courses on Indigenous Women, Film and Music.
